Hello! I’m Holly. I am the founder of Hope Floats, and a qualified registered ACA Counsellor. I aim to give a warm, non-judgmental, and safe space for growth. My approach is person-centered, empathetic and authentic.
I believe that every person has the capacity to not just survive but thrive.
With over 20 years of experience working with young people in various roles. I am dedicated to helping individuals. My passion especially lies in supporting women and children. I love to discover and draw out people’s unique strengths and inner resources. Working together to activate skills, shift perspectives, and help to create positive change.
I believe that healing happens when people feel truly seen and heard.
My journey as a counsellor was inspired by my own experiences with mental illness. Life can often throw curveballs. My aim in these ‘curveball moments’ is to offer clients a space to pause, reflect, and to process.
I am especially interested in children, grief and loss, depression, anxiety, PMDD, Perimenopause and parenting.
My ultimate goal is for a client to be encouraged. To find the strength to pivot when needed, and to help rediscover hope if it’s been lost.
We have the ability to master what seems impossible.
